"The Box Lesson”: a short film by Alexandru Mavrodineanu at the NYFF

Also in the official selection of NYFF, Alexandru Mavrodineanu’s short, “The Box Lesson”, will precede “Mr. Warmth, The Don Rickles Project” by John Landis. “Lecţia de box” tells the story of a young businessman's son who often comes home beaten by schoolmates. His father takes him to professional box lessons, but the child is not interested in fighting. Mavrodineanu will attend the showcase with support from the Romanian Cultural Institute.
