One of the most reputed Romanian theatre directors of her generation, Ana Margineanu was selected to be a resident of the LCT Directors Lab running in New York from June 4-23. The prestigious Directors Lab is a developmental program for nurturing stage directors from the US and around the world. The participation of Ms Margineanu benefits from the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute.

Ms Margineanu has already presented her work in New York in 2006 at the invitation of RCI New York, and will return in August 2007 with the international hit "The Sunshine Play" (winner of the London Fringe Report Award for Best Play – Relationship Drama) and "Bucharest Calling", both written by Peca Stefan, as part of the New York Fringe Festival.
