Peter Sragher Poetry Recital
with flute accompaniment by Sebastian Danila

The Peter Sragher poetry recital is an event organized jointly by the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York and the Russian Book Club at the UN. A writer, a translator and a journalist, the secretary of the Bucharest chapter of the Translation Section within the Romanian Writers’ Union and a member of Grazer Autorenversammlung in Austria, Peter Sragher’s poetry has been published by periodicals in Austria, Spain, Columbia, and Egypt. He will be accompanied for this recital by young Romanian-American composer and flutist Sebastian Danila from the New York University. The event complements Peter Sragher’s reading at Columbia University, where he is a guest of the Deutsche Haus.

Those of you who wish to attend the Peter Sragher poetry recital (with flute accompaniment by Sebastian Danila) in the UN building on April 6 from 2-3 pm must confirm their participation by 10:30 am on the day of the event and provide us with your full name as it appears on the photo id you must bring with you in order to pass through the UN security check. We advise you to show up at 1:30 pm at the UN visitors’ entrance and meet us in the lobby by the round information desk and wait to be seen into the hall by our UN partner.
