Aspen Shortsfest presents 'The Cage' Adrian Sitaru's latest short film, THE CAGE, is part of the official selection at the 2010 Aspen Shortfest. The film has recently received the DAAD Short Film Award at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival. Sitaru will use the prize, which comes with a three-month scholarship for the director and financial support for a new project, to further develop his upcoming feature entitled DOMESTIC.
Till then, join actors Clara Voda and Vlad Voda in Aspen for THE CAGE.

Sitaru was previously awarded at the 2009 Palm Springs Festival for his first feature, HOOKED, and at the 2008 Sundance festival for his short, WAVES.

COLIVIA / THE CAGE is a short film about the relationship between a father and his son. When Mihaes's little boy brings home a sick dove this raises new conflicts between them, but also a possible reconciliation.

Aspen Shortsfest is considered one of the world's premier international short film and video showcases for the trend-setting art form: the short. Aspen Shortsfest's centerpiece, the six-day OscarĀ®-qualifying International Competition, offers a lively, thought-provoking, and humorous selection of drama, comedy, animation and documentary - all 30 minutes or less.
