READING THE TEA LEAVES: Drama in Times of Revolution
Join us on June 17 for another 5 o'clock event within the RCINY/ Carturesti book exhibition for an exclusive introduction to the upcoming anthology "Eastern European Drama in Times of Revolution: Playwrights Before the Fall (1989)" to be published this fall by Martin E. Segal Theatre Center.
This English language volume features five plays written in the 1980s in Eastern Europe, including the great Trap Door Theatre, Chicago success "Horses at the Window" by Matei Visniec, recipient of the 2009 European Prize awarded by SACD - the authors rights' collective management society in France.
This advance inside look will be given by special guests Daniel Gerould, Executive Director, and Frank Hentschker, Director of Programs of the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center, CUNY.
