RCINY at Columbia Student Conference

RCINY at the Romanian Conference at Columbia University: Putting Romanian Art on the NY Map

"Romania, 20 Years After: an Outlook on the Romanian Diaspora" is the governing theme of this year's Romanian student conference at Columbia University (the 6th in the series), discussing issues related to nowadays socio-economic and cultural realities that concern the Romanian-American community.

The event will host the interactive session "Putting Romanian Art on the NY Map", with the participation of artists Saviana Stanescu, Matei Varga and Sanda Weigl, moderated by Corina Suteu. The dialogue will be dedicated to the vision of the programs developed by RCINY in its action of promoting Romanian culture and exchanges in/with the US.

The conference is organized by the Romanian Club @ Columbia University with the support of the Consulate General of Romania and of the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York.
