Plan B Gallery at Armory and RCINY

Takeover Gallery: Plan B Gallery at the Armory Show and RCINY

Selected for the second year in a row at the prestigious Armory Show in New York, Plan B Gallery is the first invited producer of the Takeover Gallery project, through which RCINY intends to provide to some of the most prominent galleries in Romania a chance to perform for a month on the visual arts scene of New York.

In the framework of this program, Plan B Gallery presents an exhibition by Kriszta Szabo and Cristian Rusu hosted by the Romanian Gallery.

The exhibition opening on March 25 at 7:30 pm will be followed by a round table addressing 'How to make a gallery visible in New York?' The panel will include: Mihai Pop (Plan B Gallery, Cluj), David Nolan (David Nolan Gallery, New York), Florence Lynch (Florence Lynch Gallery, New York), Lara Taubman (art critic and curator, New York), Jane Neal (art critic and curator, Oxford), Mihai Nicodim (Kontainer Gallery, Los Angeles) and visual artists Adrian Ghenie, Şerban Savu, and Miklosz Onucsan (present in the Armory Show with the support of RCINY) will also take part in the panel discussion.
FREE ADMISSION. RSVP at contacts below. [Illustration: Still from Legea baremelor by Kriszta Szabo]

Join us also on March 29 between 11am-12pm at the Plan B’s stand in the Armory Show for an informal discussion: “Is there a contemporary art "school" in Cluj?”
