Four Romanian visual artists presented by Hendershot Gallery
Hendershot Gallery, in conjunction with MB Art Agency, Amsterdam, and C-Projects, Beijing, is pleased to present Impermanence. Curated by James Hendershot and Maria Rus Bojan, the group exhibition, which includes the work of Boukje Janssen, Iosef Király, Sanja Medic, Ana Maria Micu, Cătălin Petrişor, Victor Răcătău, Kathrin Schlegel, Vera Weissgerber, and Carine Weve, will be open to the public from April 29 until June 10, 2010.

Matei Varga at Rising Artists Evenings III
Now in its third season, EPC III will host Manhattan Chamber Orchestra for each evening with three guest conductors, Ken-David Masur, Eduard Zilberkant and David Gilbert. For this Evening, four pianists will be featured as "Rising Artists" to perform the following program under the baton of Eduard Zilberkant, conductor of Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra, amongst which Matei Varga.

Mihai Nicodim Gallery is pleased to present „Markings of the Working Area”, the first solo show in the US of Romanian visual artist Miklos Onucsan. The work presented in this show by Romanian conceptual artist Miklos Onucsan spans three decades, starting from the communist 80’s, through the transition to a market economy and democracy in the 90’s and till the present day, when Romania joined the European Union.

Romanian costume and set designer Anka Lupes at the Chicago Opera Theatre
Romanian artist Anka Lupes signs the costume and set design for Rossini's "Mose in Egitto", conducted by Leonardo Vordoni, directed by Andrew Eggert, opening on April 17, and the set design for Cavalli's "Giasone", conducted by Christian Curnyn, directed by Justin Way, opening on April 24 at the Chicago Opera Theatre.
