Romanian Film Festival in Madison
The 4th edition of the Romanian Film Festival in Madison which will be held March 18-20, 2010, will showcase two feature film debuts by directors highly acclaimed for their short film work,  "Hooked" (Adrian Sitaru) and "The Happiest Girl in the World" (Radu Jude).

Romanian Cultural Exchange (ROCX) announces Post-Communist Romania: An American Perspective, a book launch presented by distinguished author Alan Elsner. Mr. Elsner will be presenting his latest novel, ‘Romance Language’, a novel that is part love story, part historical drama, part coming-of-age, set in modern-day Romania, with tails of 1989 when the country struggled under its communist regime.

Adrian Ghenie at Nicodim Gallery

Tribute to Max Blecher
"A Centenary Remembrance of a Visionary Poet" (1909-1938). Author and poet Valery Oisteanu will host an afternoon of readings in remembrance of Max Blecher at Salmagundi Art Club.
