RCINY is pleased to announce a new exciting photo album from Romanian born photographer Mircea Nicolescu: "Manhattan: Faces and Places" - People and places on Manhattan - a collection of street photography, showing new yorkers and their city.

Following the US premiere concert presented by the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York in 2009, Sunnyside Records and The Romanian Cultural Institute present on November 2 the CD Release celebration of ENESCO Re-Imagined. Lucian Ban and John Hébert assembled this daring contemporary jazz re-imagination of famed 20th century Romanian composer, George Enescu, featuring a stunning group of New York jazz iconoclasts; Joyce Hammann, violin, Mat Maneri, viola, Andrew Bishop, tenor saxophone, Ralph Alessi, trumpet, Lucian Ban, piano & re-orchestrations, John Hébert, double bass & re-orchestrations, Badal Roy, tabla, perc & voice and Gerald Cleaver, drums.

Curated by Marco Antonini & Sandrine Canac, “There Has Been No Future, There Will Be No Past: surviving cultural profiling in Central and Eastern European contemporary art” brings together nine artists, all recipients of the Young Visual Artist Award (YVAA), a major artist fellowship in Central and Eastern Europe that culminates with a residency at ISCP, with nine additional artists selected through a nomination process.

Atlantic Gallery is pleased to present Max Tzinman's show "The Cannibal Eye, Part Two".This show of recent work includes "The Mob Project" - a series of video and still images that explores the personal search for significance in a group-think world - a theme that runs through much of Tzinman's work. His images invite the viewer to contemplate existential isolation, despair, and the human struggle for authenticity and visibility.
