Bogdan Georgescu is an artist and social activist. A Soros Fellow in 2004, and a Cornerstone alumni of Institute 2, he is a tangaProject initiator and stream founder for Community Theatre based on ActiveArt. Under the initiative of the Generosity Offensive he works as a facilitator and artist on projects that include: The Sensitive Map, RahovaNonstop, Build your community! The Evacuation of The Student's Culture House in Timişoara, The Countryside Tour, a community project for creative education in rural areas, The House of People, an active theatre project in the maximum security prison of Craiova. He’s also written and developed plays and short films, such as: I am special (turneulatara.blogspot.com); XXXCartoons, a participative theatre experiment in a virtual set, Romania! Kiss Me, a concert guided experience, and many more.
