![]() Mr. Rogojina (b. 1944) is composer, pianist, and piano professor, and is currently conducting a student orchestra in Bucharest, for which he created a series of original works, bringing together jazz, oriental or south American influences, along with a strong inspiration form Romanian traditional music. Mr. Rogojină has been concert pianist for the Musica Nova Chamber group between 1974-1980, and has toured extensively in Europe. His original music performed by Musica Nova, such as Rustic Echoes (1975), Controversies (1976), and From Brâncuşi’s World –II (1978), has been radio broadcasted and record released in Romania. His over 200 original compositions range from chamber music compositions, choral and music, to symphonic poems, symphonic concerts for piano, trumpet or violin and orchestra, or instrumental theatre (Tandala, for double bass, percussion and traditional Romanian folk instruments). |
