New Waves in Romanian Theatre
In the 2007 May/June international theatre edition of American Theatre, Randy Gener, senior editor, has contributed “Restaging Romania,” an essay based on his travels to the cities of Bucharest and Sibiu (the 2007 European Capital of Culture).

Across the Trees: Romanian Art Now
With RCINY support, David Nolan Gallery exhibied works of six young artists from Cluj: Adrian Ghenie, Ciprian Muresan, Cristi Pogacean, Serban Savu, Miklos Szilard and Gabriela Vanga. The exhibition was positively reviewed by Holland Cotter in The New York Times, April 13, 2007 issue.

RCINY's New Drama Program in the NYTimes
The Romanian-American theatre exchanges are largely presented in a New York Times article on July 19, 2006. In the framework of the RCI'NYs New Drama project, the events organized in collaboration with the LARK Play Development Center, Immigrants' Theatre Project and Martin E. Segal Theatre Center, City University of New York, were considered a succes by the article's author, Gwen Orel.

The New York Times reads in the article No Language Barriers in a Dance Talk Fest, October 10, 2006, by Claudia La Rocco:  "Led by André Lepecki, who teaches performance studies at New York University, and the Romanian choreographer Mihai Mihalcea ... The mood was anticipatory but anxious, with introductions punctuated by awkward pauses and laughter.''
