Nov 11, 2009 - Apr 25, 2010 First Cucuteni Exhibition in the US The First Cucuteni Culture Exhibition in the US presented by ISAW - Institute for the Study of the Ancient World at NYU brought more than 250 objects recovered from the graves, towns and villages of Old Europe, a cycle of related cultures that achieved a precocious peak of sophistication and creativity in what is now Southeastern Europe between 5,000-3,500 B.C. The event was welcomed by the press.

November 10, 2009 " Dan Sociu reads from The Wall in My Head" Dan Sociu, a young acclaimed Romanian poet and novelist read from the New Anthology THE WALL IN MY HEAD, at the event organized by Words Without Borders, in partnership with Open Letter Books, the Polish Cultural Institute in New York, the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, the German Book Office, the Goethe-Institut New York and Idlewild Books. His participation was warmly received by the press.
