Born in Romania in 1955, Sasha Meret began his art education in Romania. After his arrival in New York, he studied printmaking with Tony Harrison at Columbia University. He currently lives and works in New York City, and he had exhibits in Europe, Japan, China, and the U.S.

Călin-Andrei Mihăilescu (b. 1956) is a writer and a Professor of Comparative Literature, Critical Theory, and Spanish at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada.

Born in 1980 in Timisoara/ Romania, Alexandru Mihaescu studied acting in Rostock/ Germany, then came back to study directing at the National University in Bucharest.

Academic, writer, and journalist, Mr. Mihăieş is the Vicepresident of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Bucharest.

Born in 1926, film director and screenwriter Iulian Mihu was the professor of many of the Romanian filmmakers that started their career in the 1970s.
