Ruxandra Cesereanu Born in Cluj, Ruxandra Cesereanu is the author of several collections of poetry, essays, and fictions. She is a founding member of the Institute for the Study of the Imagination, and a university Professor in Cluj.

Liviu Ciulei Born in 1923 in Bucharest, Mr. Ciulei has worked as theater and film director, as well as actor, architect, educator, costume and set designer. During a career spanning over 50 years, he has had a seminal influence on Romanian cinema and theater. Known for his daring theatrical interpretations, he has distinctively marked the area of performing arts inside his country and abroad.

Thomas Ciulei Born in 1965 in Bucuresti, Romania. In 1979 he moved to New York where he studied fotography at the School of Visual Arts. In 1990 he studied documentary filmmaking at the University of Television and Film Munich. In 1992 he graduated at the film department of the New York University. Between 2003 and 2007 he produced documentaries and fictions. His films have been selected to several film festivals and won numerous awards.

Andrei Codrescu Andrei Codrescu is poet, novelist, essayist, screenwriter; columnist on National Public Radio, editor of the literary journal Exquisite Corpse, MacCurdy Distinguished Professor of English at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

Stefan Constantinescu Stefan Constantinescu was born in 1968 in Bucharest and now lives in Stockholm, Sweden, and Bucharest, Romania. His works “Trolleybus 92” and “Passagen” in the exhibition are focused on micro-events – moods, situations and everyday occurrences – which confront personal destiny with historical dystopias, expressed either in the form of anthropological documentary or fictional film with neo-realist features.

Aura Corbeanu Aura Corbeanu is presumably the most important Romanian theatre producer of today. She has managed UNITER - The Theatre Union of Romania (a Romanian equivalent of TCG - the Theatre Communication Group, systemic differences considered) since 1995 and has produced numerous festivals and events, both in Romania and internationally.

Ciprian Costin Born in 1988 in Iaşi (in the northeastern Romanian province of Moldavia), Ciprian Costin is the youngest of the nine composers of the"Under 30. Young Romanian Composers and Musicians at Merkin Concert Hall".

Alexandra Croitoru Alexandra Croitoru is a photographer based in Bucharest, Romania. She was born in Romania in 1975. Her art education was in the Graphic Department of Arts Academy-Bucharest where she graduated in 1998. Since 1999 she has been Assistant Professor in the Photo-Video Department of the University of Arts in Bucharest.
