Mrs. Doina Uricariu
Director RCI NY

Known poet and essayist, member of the Romanian Writers Association, European Cultural Society and International PEN Club. Founding member of the Civic Academy. She has published nine volumes of poetry won awards from the Writers Association of Romania, Moldova, Israel and Latin America, collections of essays and studies of literature, philosophy and art history about Emil Botta, Kierkegaard, Cioran, Jeni Acterian, Dominic Stanca, Maria Pillat-Brates, Antonovich, studies on literature, philosophy and art Romanian, European and American avant-garde and wars.
